How do you re-image prehistory?

How do you draw something if you’re not sure what it looks like? Take for instance the images about prehistory: men are hunting and women are collecting berries. But what exactly are these images based on? The Hunebed Center recently commissioned illustrators to re-image school posters about the hunter-gatherers and the first farmers, based on new scientific insights. Daan Raemakers will present these posters together with an illustrator, and will discuss the differences between the old and the new.
