YESS BSS Follow-up survey on COVID-19 effects on early career researchers in BSS

Last year, YESS BSS sent out a survey to explore the impact of COVID-19

on early career researchers in our faculty. The outcomes were discussed
with the faculty board and YESS BSS made recommendations (see also
mindwise-blog here). We are now entering the second year of living and working under COVID-19 regulations and we think it is important to follow-up with early career researchers and make new recommendations to the board. We would therefore like to invite you to complete the follow-up survey.

Pre-registration sessions: kick-off on November 3

Starting November 3, the Open Science Community Groningen (OSCG) and the Young Enthusiastic Social Scientists of Behavioural and Social Sciences (YESS BSS) will organize information lectures and bi-monthly Q&A's on pre-registration on a structural basis.

The blog summarizes a survey carried out by YESS BSS in mid-April 2020, the response of the Faculty Board, and contains a call to the faculty to address concerns regarding declining research progress and mental health.
