Results and publications

For both studies, all data has been collected and analyzed. Anne Steenbakkers successfully defended her dissertation about Project BOP on the 17th of May 2018. You can find her dissertation here.

Four of the articles in her dissertationhave been published. In three of them, we outline the needs of youth in family foster care, first according to the literature, then according to youth themselves and finally we analyzed how foster parents and care workers relate to the needs of youth. Moreover, one article has been written about how youth experience conversations about living in foster care and about their past. Two final papers are in the process of being submitted for publication.

For practitioners, we have published a (Dutch) magazine in wherein the most important results of Project BOP are summarized for policy and practice.
