General
Sometimes, foster children have another faith background than their foster parents. Also, some foster children do not have a religious background, yet live in religious foster families. What does this mean to them? What do these foster children need? How do foster parents and foster care professionals respond to these needs? What do they need to offer foster children the support that they need in their religious development.
In the research we will also work on ethical reflections on the dilemma’s that foster children, foster parents, parents and foster care professionals experience in relation to religion in foster care.
