Guest lecturers and guest researchers

The Marco Polo Fund and the Erasmus+ Lecturer Mobility Fund (Erasmus) have funds available to invite guest lecturers and researchers from abroad for a short stay. These funds will cover part of their travel and accommodation costs. Contributions from the Marco Polo Fund are arranged via the University of Groningen/Faculty, whereas the Erasmus+ Lecturer Mobility allowance is granted and paid by the home university.

Faculty workstations, guest accounts etc. are usually not necessary for short stays.

Guests staying for longer periods (i.e. at least one month) for research purposes, for example in connection with a sabbatical or exchange during a PhD programme, will be offered a workstation and guest account.
