Welcome to the MSc Systems and Control!
On this website you can find all the information you need to optimally prepare yourself for the start of your master's degree programme. Take time to read all the information carefully. More programme-specific information can be found on the Student Portal (log in with your student number). The Student Portal is our digital study guide, and we expect that the students in our programme are familiar with the information on the Student Portal.
All master students that have not studied at the University of Groningen - Faculty of Science and Engineering before, are expected during the
FSE Master's introduction
. The presentation will take place on Friday 30 August from 10.00-12.00h in room 5161.0151 (Zernike, Bernoulliborg). During the presentation, you will be introduced to the faculty and our information systems.
If you have completed your bachelor's degree in Groningen, you will be familiar with most information of the Faculty introduction. We do urge you to check the Master Systems and Control page on the Student Portal (Study Info > Master > Computing Science).
Students new to the UG, will have half an hour for lunch (not included) after the FSE Master's introduction. From 12.30-13.00 S&C students new to university can join the IEM students in room EA 5159.0267 (Zernike, Energy Academy) for a talk from their mentor and study association Lugus. This will be followed by a Campus tour together with new MSc IEM students from 13.00-14.00.
All prospective S&C students are expected during the MSc Systems and Control programme introduction on Friday 30 August, 14.00-15.00. The introduction will take place in Bernoulliborg (BB) room 5161.0289. Afterwards we will have drinks together from 15.00-17.00 in the Take Away in the BB.
