Study Association
A study association is an organization run by a team of students from the respective bachelor’s and master’s degree programme(s). The FSE study associations organize many activities for students, including introductory camps and monthly “borrels” (informal social gatherings, often with drinks), but also more serious events such as company visits or conferences. Study associations differ from the general student associations where the degree programme is irrelevant. And study associations do not have hazing rituals.
The student council of the Master science education and communication is a small group of students who organize a borreltalk approximately every two months. During the borreltalk, you can listen to a graduate who talks about their career path in an informal setting, while having a drink with you fellow students and teachers.
Our Master is remarkably diverse and broad, so our alumni end up in many different jobs: from a high school teacher to a science journalist, or communication officer. To explore all the possibilities after finishing our Master, the student council makes sure to invite alumni from various fields.
We hope to see you at a borreltalks!
