Welcome to your Programme

Dear prospective student,

With this message we would like to welcome you to the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) of the University of Groningen (UG). Please read this website carefully to have a good start of your MSc degree programme in 2024/2025. We are looking forward to welcoming you in September and hope you will thoroughly enjoy your studies in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. 

In our master programmes Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, we have a lot of choices in several specializations with many elective courses. At first this can seem a bit confusing, so take your time to think about your programme. Please find all possibilities on Ocasys for:

Please also have a look at Mastermath: the cooperation of departments of Mathematics of the Dutch universities, that organizes joint courses in mathematics and applied mathematics.
