HTSM set-up
HTSM set-up

After you have been awarded a position at the HTSM Honours Master, you may start on a preliminary individual programme, to remedy any deficiencies in background knowledge you may have. The programme starts with a kick-off meeting, where the industrial partners will present several assignments. You will form a team with students from other disciplines and collectively choose your team assignment.

The masterclasses will develop and complement your knowledge and understanding of various aspects of the HTSM sector, such as your own field, other disciplines, product development, innovation and engineering. These masterclasses enable you and your team to acquire the necessary skills for preparing and conducting your team’s product development assignment. Throughout the programme you also participate in personal development workshops , to optimise your team skills and to prepare for your Masterwork.

Your team writes a product proposal on how to solve the technical challenge at hand, together with a plan of approach on how your team proposes to effectively and efficiently manufacture and test the product during Summer School. During Summer School , your team will manufacture, test and finalise the proposed solution on site at the research facilities of the industrial partners.

You will conclude the programme with the masterwork , through which you demonstrate that you can independently put into practice the acquired knowledge and skills.
