Marjolijn graduated in 1998 from the Faculty of Economics and Business with a master degree in Economics. During her studies she specialised in Technology Management. Since the start of her career, she has won various prestigious awards in the field of marketing and communications. 

At the time of the interview, Marjolijn was Marketing & Communications director at de Bijenkorf. By now, she is the Customer, Creative & Communications Director at de Bijenkorf.
