The online form of education has some ups and downs, from attending lectures in your pjs to suddenly getting kicked out of your online class due to a system error. It can be challenging. I thought a GIF compilation of my most common moods throughout the week might help bring some relatability to brighten up your long week.
(Disclaimer: uncontrollable laughter, deep relatability, and tears of joy may occur while reading)
1. Facial Expressions
Immediately after turning off the camera during a black board collaborate session to silently sit in your room.
2. Answering Questions
After answering three of the ten questions correctly that your professor asked you. Because that’s what heroes do! (And you know you’re trying your best...)
3. Forgotten Deadlines
When you wake up from a nice afternoon nap and realise that you have to present your research topic in your live seminar tomorrow morning, and you have currently written 0 words.
4. Social Distance
Texting “hi” to your friends and family after falling off the face of the earth for the past few days, because of three deadlines, two presentations and an overall sense of emptiness after binge watching an entire Netflix series in a day.
5. Connection Issues
That face you make when the professor asks, “do you understand?” But you have been unable to access the live class for the past 10 minutes because your WiFi decided to cut out unexpectedly.
6. The Social Media Trap
Visual representation of opening instagram on your study break and falling into a deep well of wonderful cat videos, cute dogs and hilarious content. Suddenly, you are 45 minutes into your 15 minute break.
7. Celebration!
Enjoying a nice party in your room because you survived another week in 2020, with minimal errors and minimal sadness! Well done! You should be proud.
