PhD Scholarship Programme

On 1 September 2016, the University of Groningen started the PhD Scholarship Programme. This programme is issued by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science (OCW) within the framework of the national PhD Scholarship Programme.

In the UG PhD Scholarship Programme, selected prospective PhD students are invited to write their own PhD research proposal in collaboration with an expert PhD supervisor from the University of Groningen with whom they would like to work. Thus, as a PhD scholarship student you will do curiosity-driven research that allows you to work at the boundaries of knowledge!
