Meet us: open days and contact

Each year we offer several online and offline open day events for both students and parents to give them an impression of the University and the city of Groningen. We are also present at multiple global virtual fairs. All events will be updated as we move into 2022.

Welcoming Ceremony

The University organizes an official Welcoming Ceremony for all new international students at the beginning of both the first and second semester during which students are introduced to all aspects of studying and living in Groningen. Moreover, they have an opportunity to arrange formalities such as opening a bank account, receiving the residence permit, and registering with City Hall.
