Pay your tuition fee before 31 August 2024

01 August 2024

If you want to start your degree programme on 1 September 2024, please note that the UG must have received your payment of tuition fees no later than 31 August 2024.

This means that:

  • the RUG must have received your direct debit mandate, or
  • the amount of the tuition fees is in the UG bank account, or
  • you have arranged the payment of tuition in a different way.

As soon as you have fulfilled the payment obligation - and meet the other registration conditions - you will be officially registered at the UG.

Exception to deadline

For non-EU students, other deadlines may apply due to the immigration procedure.

Don't wait until the last day

Depending on how you want to pay your tuition fees, it may take a few days before the payment is received by the UG. Therefore, do not wait until the last day to arrange payment of the tuition fees.

If you have chosen “other method of payment” in Studielink, you need to pay the outstanding amount yourself before the deadline.

What happens if I pay my tuition fees late?

You will not be enrolled. This will have consequences for

  • participation in education and exams
  • access to the University Library,
  • your student grant from DUO,
  • your student travel product (DUO).
