Modern Migration Policy for students
Modern Migration Policy (MoMi) is legislation that only applies to non-EU/EEA students with a Dutch residence permit for the purpose of ‘study’ (in Dutch: Studie).
Requirements
MoMi requires all non EU/EEA students to obtain at least 50% (sometimes up to 100%, for example for Pre-Master students) of the nominally available study credits (ECTS) in every academic year, in order to keep their residence permit.
Meeting MoMi-requirement
The University of Groningen (UG) monitors the study progress of her students and informs them about what to do in case of circumstances that prevent them from meeting the MoMi-requirement.
