Request a statement

You can request the following statements from the Student Information & Administration department.


Statement of enrolment

From the moment you are officially registered for the academic year,

  • you will automatically receive the statement of enrolment by email within 2 working days.
  • you can also download the statement via the Student Portal. Go to UG tools and click on 'Statement of enrolment and photo'.


What do you use your statement of enrolment for?

You can use the statement of enrolment for non-university bodies such as insurance companies, health insurers, pension or orphan funds, travel companies, etc. A student association may also ask for a statement of enrolment.

You can request a proof of payment of tuition fees in two ways:

You can request a declaration of deregistration in two ways:

Proof payment tuition fees (BBC)

A proof payment tuition fees (BBC) is a document showing that you have paid the statutory tuition fees. You will need this proof if, in addition to the University of Groningen, you also want to be registered at another higher education institution.

You can request a proof of payment tuition fees in the following way:

  • Via Studielink you can indicate that you wish to pay with a Tuition fee payment receipt.
  • Fill in the form Application Form Statements and the BBC will be sent to the institution where you wish to enroll.

Before a BBC can be issued, your enrolment (and thus your tuition payment or direct debit mandate) must have been processed.
