Pre-Master Course Sustainable Entrepreneurship

This pre-master is perfect for you if:

• You are an HBO graduate, or
  
• You have a university degree but you have a deficiency in economics/business related courses and research methods.

At the end of the course, you will be able to:

• Apply philosophy of science concepts to the defined problem for research;

• Develop a research design to solve a defined problem;

• Write a structured and balanced research proposal, applying critical reflection and sound argumentation on made choices;

• Present a written version of the research proposal;

• Understand present societal challenges regarding sustainable development from an organizational perspective;

• Analyze empirical manifestations of initiatives aiming to realize a circular economy;

• Identify a relevant problem, based on existing literature and/or management practice.

Classes start in February 2025 and are held over the course of 9 sessions (weekly). A detailed timeline will follow in the coming weeks.

The sessions are primarily held on-site in Leeuwarden, online option available upon request.

The premaster is worth 7 ECTS, which equals an investment of almost 200 hours. There are 9 sessions of 2 hours, which leaves around 180 hours of self study and working on assignments. 

The fees for the pre-master are as follows:

• For NL/EU students: €294
• For non-EU/EER students: €1946
  

The application steps are:

1. Submit your application for Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Studielink;

2. The Admissions Board reviews applications to determine eligibility for the premaster;

3. The applicant will be instructed on how to register for the premaster.

The application round opens on 1 October 2024.
The application deadline is 12 January 2025.
