Everyone knows that exam time can be tough, regardless of what university or faculty in which you study. I always find that GIFs bring me a little bit of joy and are a great way to express myself when my brain has used up the last of its brain cells.

To commemorate this wonderful exam time we’re having, I’ve compiled some relatable GIFs that I’m hoping some of you can relate to too.

Exam time is well and truly upon us and suddenly you realise you’ve no idea what you’re doing…

Eventually, you figure out that the only way you’ll get through this is by quite literally inhaling your notes from the past couple of weeks.

One of the hardest things about exam time is finding the time to actually cook for yourself in between all the study sessions, luckily we have Soup and Study sessions each exam block, which helps to keep you studying later into the night. Sometimes, you still tend to lose track of time though.

The other challenge around exam time is that for some reason everything is due in the same week and sometimes these deadlines can be hard to stick to. Here is some actual footage of me working on an assignment at 16:45 that’s due at 17:00.

After all the deadlines have been met and you’re so tired you just need to lie down… anywhere

Even if the exams are tough, at least your Dutch is coming along okay.
