Robots put to work at home

Dr Tijn van der Zant was one of the founding fathers of the RoboCup@Home competition, the annual international competition between robots capable of performing household chores realistic home settings. The competition has clearly had a catalysing effect on the development of robots that can conduct household chores. Van der Zant gives a sneak preview of what Groningen plans to compete with.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
