The Hotspotmonitor
The University of Groningen works closely with the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving). One of the fruits of this collaboration is the Hotspot Monitor, an online tool for measuring how people experience natural locations. In the years to come, new areas for cooperation are also being reconnoitred, for example research into sustainable landscapes, health and the living environment, and the planned construction of wind turbines in the Netherlands.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
