CONAHCYT

The University of Groningen supports Mexican students who would like to finance their PhD trajectory with the help of the Consejo Nacio nal de Humanidades, Ciencias y Tecnologías (CONAHCYT).

Candidates who secure funding from CONAHCYT are also eligible for our top-up program.

To apply for a CONAHCYT scholarship, you will probably need a Letter of Acceptance (LoA). How do you get a LoA from the UG? Consult our webpage for scholarship PhDs.

CONAHCYT’s call for applications for Mexican nationals to apply for full PhD studies abroad is generally published each calendar year. To learn about future calls for applications keep an eye on the CONAHCYT website.

Note that in addition to the above CONAHCYT may open, throughout the year:

• Other topical calls in priority areas (e.g. energy, education…)
• Separate calls coordinated via its regional offices ("entidades federales") in different Mexican states, in accordance with state priorities
