Sustainable Humans of Groningen: Rosaline de Vetten & Selfles
The #2 in the series of Sustainable Humans of Groningen! In these interview sessions you will meet people of Groningen who take action to make the world a more sustainable place. They are here to inspire you and give you advice on how to take action yourself!
Students with a mission: Rosaline from Selfles* explains how they combat loneliness of the elderly by working together and making recycled products. Young volunteers and elderly come together to share a cup of coffee, chat and create lamps from empty liquor bottles. Do you want to know what inspired them and how they took action? Watch the interview!
*Previously known as B.E.T.A. (Bring Elderly Together Again), they have now changed their name to Selfles and expanded their reach to include young people with limited opportunities on the labour market.
Selfles is part of ENACTUS Groningen. Do you want to combine entrepreneurship with a social or sustainable mission? Have a look at their website.
