Recognition and Rewards Festival on 22 March
The Recognition and Rewards Festival is an event for everyone who is interested in recognizing and appreciating science, education and academic staff. During the festival we will discuss the progress of the Recognition and Rewards programme at the UG and the challenges and dilemmas of cultural and system change. We look foward to an afternoon full of interaction and inspiration! To support and inspire each other, and to exchange best practices on facilitating and rewarding all university staff as best as possible.
The festival takes place on Friday 22 March 2024 in the House of Connections.

1.15 p.m. Keynote by prof. dr. Lidewey van der Sluis

The programme continues with workshops that provide new insights into recognition and rewards team performance, open sciences, impact, interdisciplinarity, assessing and developing educational qualities, and development-oriented R&D conversations for scientists and support staff.

Keynote speaker Lidewey van der Sluis
Prof. Lidewey van der Sluis is Professor of Strategic Talent Management and Organizational Leadership at Nyenrode Business University. She brings a fresh and economic view to traditional HR topics and social and psychological dimensions of organizations and labor relations. With her knowledge and experience in economics (EconDrs, University of Amsterdam), management (PhD, Erasmus University Rotterdam and London Business School) and leadership (VU Amsterdam), she explores the interface between work relations, business economics and talent management. The future of work is central to her thinking and message.
