Development for everyone

The nation-wide Recognition & Rewards programme focuses on academics. At the UG, we want to recognize and reward all staff members who, either directly or indirectly, contribute to the key areas of teaching, research, social impact, and leadership. We are committed to recognizing and rewarding the work of teams and individuals, whether they are academics or serve as administrative and support staff. Everyone should have the opportunity to develop their talent and to put it to use within the context of our University.

Leadership modules, personal and otherwise, have been developed for all UG staff to take. Staff can ask to have a conversation about their career, ambitions, and development. The Corporate Academy, for instance, is the place for deepening knowledge. It offers a range of options for talent development. More in-depth online modules addressing a variety of areas and themes are available on the New Heroes online learning platform.
