Practical information
The EuroSoTL 2025 conference will take place in the city of Groningen, the Netherlands from the 18th of June to the 20th of June 2025.
The conference itself will take place at two locations located right in the city center of Groningen. The first venue is the "Academiegebouw" (The University hall), the adress is Broerstraat 5, Groningen, the Netherlands. The second venue is the "House of Connections," of which the adress is Grote Markt 21, Groningen, the Netherlands.

Registration
The registration portal for the EuroSoTL 2025 conference will be open from the 1st of February until the 2025 of May.
Registration includes access to all sessions for the duration of the EuroSoTL 2025 conference, food and beverages during the EuroSoTL 2025 conference.
The conference dinner is not included within a registration for the EuroSoTL 2025 conference. For the dinner a seperate ticket is needed to be bought.

Travel & accomodation
You can reach Groningen by either flying into Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam), from there it is possible to take a direct train which will take you to Groningen in 2.15 hours. The regional Groningen Airport Eelde can be reached within 45 minutes by bus and offers flights to several European destinations (i.e., United Kingdom, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Turkey, Sweden).
Other ways to reach are Groningen are by using the (inter)national rail network, by ferry or by car. We want to encourage you to explore more sustainable ways (if possible for you).
You can take a direct train from Schiphol Airport to Groningen station. We recommend taking the intercity, which takes two hours and leaves every thirty minutes. On the Dutch national railway website, you can plan your journey. At the airport, you can purchase a train ticket at one of the yellow ticket machines.
We recommend to take a look at our accommodation page. We have teamed up local hotels to secure the best possible rate and location for you. Please note: Groningen is a small city, so we recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible to secure a good spot!

Depending on your accomodation you can reach the conferencevenue(s) by bicycle, public transport or by foot. The majority of our recommended accomodation locations are located near or a short cycle away from the conference venues in the city centre.
