Since 2019, the Advanced Research Center Chemical Building Blocks Consortium (ARC CBBC) has brought academic institutions – including the UG – and the business world together in a joint research context. To celebrate the Consortium’s fifth anniversary, the parties involved are organizing a symposium on 22 April 2021 from 1 to 5.15 p.m.
Renowned speakers and talented researchers will share their ideas, ambitions, challenges and solutions to make sustainable chemistry possible in the future. They will show various studies focusing on reducing the ecological footprint of the chemical industry and providing society with cleaner and more sustainable materials. The speakers include Ben Feringa, Jan Peter Balkenende and Matthias Beller.
