Laboratory Medicine

The department of Laboratory Medicine takes the lead in creating and utilizing novel analytical and diagnostic techniques. These techniques are rooted in the principles of Predictive, Preventive, Personalized, and Participatory (P4) Medicine. This approach broadens our understanding of disease mechanisms and enhances our analytical expertise. The department collaborates with and supports the research endeavors of other departments and external researchers at UMCG.
