Has the number of available study places changed?

Yes, from 410 to 400. From 1 September 2025, there will be 400 first-year places. If you are registered in Studielink for the Medicine programme after the 15th of January 2025, you will automatically participate in the lottery for one of these 400 places.

Previously, there were 410 first-year places. This number has been adjusted as a result of a national reduction in the total number of study places. The decision to reduce the number of study places for Medicine was made by the government.
