Summer Schools

In addition to going abroad for a semester, you also have the opportunity to go abroad for a Summer School at one of our partner universities. During this time you can follow intersting, intensive courses, learn a new language and become part of an international community.

The Summer Schools vary in length, between 3 to 8 weeks. All programmes are published on the Student Portal. If you would like to spend a summer abroad, this could be exacty right for you!

Please note the following in regards to attending Summer Schools:

  • You need to make all travel arangements yourself, and cover all costs.
  • You will not get a scholarship. Some programmes do offer a grant, but not all.
  • Following a summer programme is not a replacement for a study abroad.
  • A summer programme is considered to be extracurricular. Only in rare cases can an exception be made via the Board of Examiners. A Summer School is meant to enrich the students' knowledge, and should mainly be undertaken out of the students' own interest or desire to gain deeper knowledge of a specific subject.

Should you have any additional questions regarding Summer Schools, please contact the UCG International Office at exchange.ucg rug.nl
