I am involved in DREAMS, a consortium of academic child and youth mental health institutions. The goal of DREAMS is to use data collected in clinical practice (e.g., through intake questionnaires) to gain better insight into the clients that come into care and the course of their treatment and mental health problems. For instance: which clients have a high risk of dropping out of treatment or of requiring intensive/complex care? And which clients do very well and why? As part of DREAMS, I primarily lead projects investigating pharmacotherapeutic treatment.

I am currently also working on several projects in which we link prescription data with Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) data to investigate the effect of medication on "real-life" outcomes (such as criminal offending).

I am also involved in various projects regarding the development of mental disorders during the life course, for which I use data of 150.000 participants in the World Mental Health Surveys.
