dr. T. (Tialda) Hoekstra

Tialda Hoekstra (1979) is working as a Methodological Advisor at the Department of Health Sciences - Community and Occupational Medicine. She provides methodological and statistical advice to researchers and PhD students regarding the design of studies, the collection and analyses of data, and the interpretation and publication of research findings.

Additionally, she appointed as a Senior Researcher at the Research Center for Insurance Medicine, and she is the Research Coordinator and Quality Officer of the department of Community and Occupational Medicine. 

Tialda received her Master's Degree  in Clinical and Health Psychology and Neuropsychology at the Universty of Leiden (2006). For several years, she worked as a researcher in the area of Forensic Psychiatry and Cardiology. In 2012 she received her PhD in Medicine (Quality of life and sexual problems in patients with heart failure, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, supervisors: Prof.dr. D.J. van Veldhuisen, Prof.dr. T. Jaarsma, Prof.dr. R. Sanderman).
