Involved in day-to-day supervision tasks of Õnne Kask, who focuses on the development of new mobility concepts for OV Bureau Groningen-Drenthe and Wagenborg Shipping. 

Development of the transport geography chair, Faculty of Spatial Sciences (2019 - now)

Part-time position as a post-doctoral researcher with the transport geography-chair, chaired by Prof. Taede Tillema. 

Phd research on the emergence of e-bikemobility in the Netherlands (2014-2018)

Doctorate research project investigating the emergence and potential of e-bike mobility in the Dutch context.

"The ascent of e-bike use comes at a time where sustainable mobility stands out in political and academic discourses around the world. The aim of this thesis is to provide insight in the potential of e-bikes as a means to achieve more sustainable and active transport systems, by studying actual and potential e-bike use in different populations and in different regions in the Netherlands"

I defended the thesis on 5 July 2018. The project was funded by a University of Groningen Ubbo Emmius PhD scholarship (3 year funding grant)
