prof. dr. M.S. (Marco) Cune

Marco Cune (1965) studied dentistry at ACTA (1984-1990) after which he finished his PhD at the Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht (Overdenturs on Implants, 1993). He is Professor of Restorative and Reconstructve Dentistry at the Center for Dentistry and Oral Hygiene, University Medical Center Groningen, the Netherlands. He is head of the section Restorative Dentistry. In addition, he is a consultant at the Center for Prosthodontics and Special Dental Care of the St. Antonius Hospital, Nieuwegein and works at tandartspraktijk Schiermonnikoog.

His clinical and research interests and activities focus on the fields of comprehensive restorative dentistry, prosthodontic rehabilitation, implant dentistry and dental biomaterials. On these topics he lectures on a regular basis and has (co-) authored over a 150 articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
