Expertise
Manolis Kotzampasakis analyses regulations for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, by combining legal methods with insights from economics and interdisciplinary techniques. His PhD research focuses on the emissions from international maritime transport and, more specifically, on their inclusion in the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). His expertise lies in the intersection of international, European and comparative climate law, aiming to understand how climate policies should be designed and implemented to effectively achieve their objectives.
