Expertise
Manolis Kotzampasakis analyses regulations for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, by combining law with insights from economics and interdisciplinary methods. His PhD research has focused on the emissions from international maritime transport and, more specifically, on their inclusion in the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). His expertise lies in the intersection of international, European and comparative climate law, aiming to understand how energy transition policies should be designed and implemented to effectively achieve their objectives.
