What does empowerment mean to people from different cultures?
How do people become more empowered?
How do social and psychological processes influence the process of empowerment?
These questions are at the core of Madeline's PhD. She works in a multidisciplinary, international team with researchers, practitioners and local experts to develop a psychological training program for women's empowerment in Bangladesh.
For more information on Madeline's PhD work, see the project website.
