mr. M. (Michiel) Duchateau
Lecturer constitutional law
Michiel Duchateau (Nijmegen, 1979) graduated in 2005 with a specialization in the field of Constitutional and Administrative Law. In 2014 he defended his doctoral thesis in Groningen, on the representative position of the European Parliament. The thesis focuses on sovereignty, (con)federalism and (political) representation in the EU. After that, he was appointed as (university) lecturer at the department of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Public Administration.
