Coördinator Extra-curriculair criminology programme “Crime and Security"
Master's students who choose to major in Criminal Justice can choose an extracurricular criminology program called "Crime and Security".

The extracurricular program consists of a substantively coherent package of three criminology courses taken during the master's phase.

Building on the compulsory master course "Introduction to Criminology", in the second semester: the seminar "Crime and Security Policy" in the third block and spread over block 3 and block 4 the Law in Practice course "Law and reality in the criminal justice chain".

The substantive focus of the program is on the theme of crime and law enforcement and the justice chain with attention to the criminal and extra-criminal approach to crime, the modus operandi of the justice chain and crime and security policy

The criminology program has a project character as all courses (except the Introductory course) work around small projects and practice speaking and writing skills.
Entrance requirement for the Seminar and Law in Practice = Introduction to Criminology passed.
Students who complete this extra-curricular criminology master's program will receive an endorsement on their degree.
Students wishing to take the extra-curricular criminology master's program must register with the program coordinator. The registration deadline is synchronous with the registration deadline for courses in the second semester.
