Current main clinical research project is the "BiBo Project" (Better in Better Out) which aims to optimize patient healthcare before cardiac surgery by means of an extensive multi-factorial preoperative training on outpatient basis, combined with a postoperative clinical rehabilitation program. This project will last 5 years, will be held in UMCG Beatrixoord and will statrt in 2015.
Current main medical device research project is the PACE project (SNN founded), that aims to develop a platform for VATS single-port LV lead delivery for patients with heart failure.
