L. (Leo) Dvortsin

I'm the Scientific Coordinator at the Energy and Sustainability Research Institute Groningen (ESRIG) within the Faculty of Science & Engineering. ESRIG's focus is groundbreaking research for sustainable energy transition and responsible resource use, aiming to benefit more communities worldwide in an eco-friendly manner. Simultaneously, I am the Scientific Coordinator at the interdisciplinary Wubbo Ockels School for Energy and Climate. My core mission is uniting researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Together, we strive to pioneer innovative research projects that address urgent global energy and climate challenges head-on. My goal is to bridge academia, industry, and policy, driving transformative breakthroughs with global implications.

I am a part of the Working Group within the Netherlands Energy Research Alliance, a collaborative effort encompassing the majority of academic research institutions in the Netherlands dedicated to energy research.
