  • 09/2014 - present: PhD student in Organizational Psychology at the University of Groningen, focusing on Blended Working Practices (BWPs).

 Education and training

  • 2012-2014: Research Master Behavioural and Social Sciences at the University of Groningen, specialized in Social and Organizational Psychology. Grade average: 8.0. Master thesis: 9.0.

  • 2012-2014: Honours Master at the University of Groningen, focusing on Leadership from different academic perspectives (e.g. innovation, ambition). Grade average: 8.1.

  • 2009-2012: Bachelor Psychology at the University of Groningen.Grade average: 7.7, Bachelor thesis: 9.0.

  • 2010-2012: Honours Bachelor at the University of Groningen. 

 Research and training experience

  • 2011-2014: Research-assistant of Prof. dr. Nico W. van Yperen. Supporting a variety of research activities, mainly focusing on blended working.

  • 05/2011 – present: Mindfulness trainer at CVIO (Centrum Voor Intuïtieve Ontwikkeling) in Dokkum.

  • 09/2011 – 07/2012: Honours Research internship Organizational Psychology at the University of Groningen, under supervision of Prof. dr. Nico W. van Yperen. I supported different facets of his research, mainly focusing on the new world of work and blended working.

  • 09/2010 – 07/2011: Honours Research internship Social Psychology at the University of Groningen, under supervision of dr. C.E. Ashton-James. I supported different facets of her research, mainly focusing on mimicry.

 Organizational experience

  • 02/2013 – present: Member Groningen Talent Group, a multidisciplinary network group with about 80 Groningen talents. The group is part of City of Talent and thus originated from the Groningen Agreement.

  • 2012 - 2014: Member Educational Committee (OC) of the ReMa at the University of Groningen. Here I represent all ReMa students of the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences and suggest improvements within the Research Master.

  • 2012 - 2014: Member VAOW (Advisoryboard Education) at the University of Groningen.

  • 2010 – 2012: Member Programme Committee of the Honours College at the University of Groningen. Here I represent all Honours students of the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences program and suggest improvements within the Honours College (both in terms of broadening and deepening modules) during meetings with the Dean and professors of the Honours College.

  • 12/2010: Business Battle in Groningen. As the winning student team consisting of 8 Honours students from the University of Groningen, we bundled our knowledge and thought about the optimal shaping of future organizations. Organized by het Zuiderlicht and Hollandse Nieuwe. Participants were 100 managers and executives enriched by 40 excellent students from across the Netherlands.
