Kim van Dam

Dr. K.I.M. (Kim) van Dam (the Netherlands) is Senior Researcher at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, and Associated Researcher at the University of Groningen. Trained in Cultural Geography, she is conducting research on stakeholder involvement for area-based or regional strategies for the transition to renewable energy. Past and on-going research is focused on sustainable energy and sustainable development, with a special focus on remote (e.g. Arctic) and rural areas. Her analytical skills comprise both qualitative and quantitative methods. Before she worked at Energy Academy Europe in Groningen and the University of Groningen both has researcher and research manager.
