I am currently working on my dissertation, which consists of the following projects:

• The relevance of heterogeneity among institutional investors for firm outcomes
• Monitoring from a cultural distance: the effect of investor cultural diversity on agency problems
• Temporal framing and informal institutions: Explaining cross-national variation in the disclosed time orientation of firms

The dissertation explores how characteristics of institutional shareholders influence firm outcomes.
