prof. mr. J.E. (Jelle) Jansen

J.E. (Jelle) Jansen (1980) read law in Groningen (2004), defended his PhD on Roman Law there in 2011. He worked as associate professor at the universities of Utrecht and Nijmegen. In the years 2013-2016 he was professor by special appointment for private law at the University of Amsterdam. In 2015 he returned to Groningen as successively senior lecturer, junior professor and full professor for ius commune.
