As a PhD candidate, I am part of the FACERE research project. In my PhD, I investigate iron and blacksmithing in Roman cultural discourse. I ask how Romans experienced the material world around them, with a focus on iron and iron objects, and how the blacksmith's work is depicted in literature and art. I also have an interest in classical reception and I am involved in the Anchoring the Fascist Revolution project.
