mr. G.M. (Max) de Vries

In 2021, Max de Vries graduated summa cum laude in the Research Master in Law and cum laude in the Master in Dutch Law, specializing in criminal law, both at the University of Groningen. Before that, he completed the Bachelor of Laws and the Bachelor in Tax Law (both cum laude) at Tilburg University.

Since 1 October 2021, he is a PhD candidate at the Department of Transboundary Legal Studies. His research concerns dangerousness in Dutch preventive criminal law. His supervisors are Professor Anne Ruth Mackor, Professor Gerben Meynen and Professor Johannes Bijlsma.
