Research interests

My research area is widely concerned with the (social, cultural, and technological) processes by which citizens and communities experience power through digital media. More specifically, my research focuses on platformized violence, datafication, and media literacies.

I am an Assistant Professor in Media and Digital Cultures at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands).
