Coen Heijes is involved in applying new, interdisciplinary teaching techniques for Bachelors and Masters students students involving societal challenges that exist at the interfaces of multiple fields. He is currently working on blackface and institutional racism, on Shakespeare, ethics and leadership, on the impact of religious differences on perception and cooperation and on the effects of ecological and social sustainability (Leadership, Governance and Sustainability).
