Socio-economic Integration of Migrants and Refugees (SIRM)
The SIRM project concerns interregional exchange of experience between partners in the field of socio-economic integration of third-country nationals, including refugees and migrants. The project provides a broad exchange of experience and dissemination of knowledge on problems and needs of migrants and ways to solve the problem of migration.
The project is a 4-year Interreg project led by RRDA (Rzsezow Regional Development Agency, Poland. The following partners are involved: Maramures County Council (RO), Prešov Self-Governing Region (SK), University of Latvia (LV), Municipality of Brindisi (IT), City of Sibenik (HR), Munster Technological University (IE), and Podkarpackie Region - The Regional Centre for Social Policy (PL).
The University of Groningen team comprises Thijs Broekhuizen (PI), Florian Noseleit, Michael Wyrwich, and Sandra Nijgh. As an advisory partner, the Groningen team is responsible for co-organizing the 6 Transnational Learning Meetings and the 7 online meetings.
Noord-Nederlandse Innovatiemonitor
De Noord-Nederlandse Innovatiemonitor is het resultaat van een strategische samenwerking tussen het expertisecentrum VinCi van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RUG), de drie Noordelijke provincies en het Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland (SNN). Deze samenwerking is in 2016 gestart. De beoogde doelstelling van de Innovatiemonitor is om jaarlijks de innovatie activiteiten, investeringen en prestaties van mkb-bedrijven uit Noord-Nederland in kaart te brengen en te analyseren.
