International crimes (Faculty of Law)

In this master course which I teach together with Prof. dr. Caroline Fournet the focus is on international crimes to which we take an inter- and multidisciplinary approach. Students will learn about the nature and causes of these crimes as well as the legal definitions, issues and ways to prosecute these crimes

Introduction to criminology (Faculty of Law)

This is a master course taught at the Law Faculty in which students will be given an introduction to criminology and will study the main concepts and criminological theories. Students will be given an understanding of the nature and causes of crimes.

War (UCG)

In this bachelor course taught at the University College of Groningen the focus is on war. In the course a multi- and interdisciplinary approach is taken and war is studied from many different scientific disciplines such as history, political science, international relations, social-psychology, criminology and the law.
